ART IS ONE OF THE UNIVERSAL LANGUAGES ALL HUMAN BEINGS UNDERSTAND AND USE TO COMMUNICATE

The Foster the Arts program uses art to help understand who we are, our places in the world, and the meaning of our lives. We use art to express ourselves and to speak to others across time and place. The power of the arts to enrich human experience and society is recognized and celebrated in Foster the Arts.

Foster the Arts consists of four cutting edge art curriculums in Visual, Performing, Literary and Media Arts. Classes are led by professional staff that are selected with emphasis on their artistic expertise, teaching background and compassion towards foster youth. Each class is comprised of twelve hand-selected foster youth that attend three times a week after school, during the weekends and in the summer.

We partner with local foster care homes to identify and enroll at-risk foster youth into the Foster the Arts Program. Students must apply to and be admitted into the GloryArts Academy to participate in Foster the Arts.
